How can you avoid the red eye / green eye when photographing dogs?
I volunteer with a group of animal rescue I often take photos of dogs. I have to use my using Photoshop.
Red eye occurs when people look directly at the flash when the image is taken. To avoid this same, I tell my subjects not to look directly at the flash of my camera. maybe my eyes or my fingers or hair. This usually works. for dogs, it's not that easy cuz I do not understand. I tried to photograph at an angle so that your eyes are not looking directly into your flash. if you still want it be looking at the camera, you can still do that, but just not straight photography. whether taking pictures outdoors, there will be much less likely chance of an eye red (and probably will not have to use a flash because the natural outdoor light during the day should be sufficient.) Are you sitting still or moving dogs on when you're photographing them? Because if they are in motion, which could be why the photos come out blurry. if there is a way to control the shutter speed camera, or put it in a sports setting that could allow take clearer pictures without using the flash, because moving objects will be blurred if the shot is not fast enough or if there is insufficient light.
