what can prevent those darn red bumps dogs get after being outside?
my little boston gets these red bumps on his belly after being outside for a while then takes a couple days to go away,none of my other dogs get them,and its just when he’s outside for a bit,if he just goes out and comes back he doesn’t get them,what are they and how do i stop them or prevent them,i have thought it might be heat or the grass but i don’t know,the vet has given him special shampoo for allergies but it still does it
Sounds like some sort of allergic reaction – possilby to any grass he may have come in contact with. Both of my dogs break out after they play outside for extended times and per our vet we give them 1x 12.5mg childrens benedryl tablet ever 12 hours for 2 days. Please call your vet to check.
