The eyes of reflection of dogs?
While driving a vehicle at night and if a beam of light shone in the eyes of the dog, we with eyes that seem very important .. Why is that? Why human eyes dont look the same?
You know what is good. eye shine due to a special iridescent layer called the tapetum lucidum behind the retina and optic nerve, which acts as a mirror. The light passing into the eye of the animal bounces OFFF tapetum lucidum, giving the animal the ability to reflect (in their own eyes) the little light that is input, allowing to see in near darkness. The eyes shine at night because that is when pupils dilate wide enough for the table to be visible lucidum. And the eyes of human beings do not shine because they lack a tapetum lucidum. We are not hunters by night, despire evidence of a bunch of kids hanging around bars road at night .= ^)
